If you have a paper prescription in your hand, NHA Pharmacy can dispense it for you without you having to visit the pharmacy. Simply send us a clear photo or scan of your prescription and we will check it, prepare your medication and deliver it free of charge to your door anywhere in England. It is a quick, convenient way to get the medicines you need, especially if you are unwell, short of time or unable to travel.
How to send us your prescription
Getting your prescription to us is easy. You can:
- Email it to us – take a photo of the front of your prescription with your phone or scan it, and email the image to [email protected].
- Bring or post the original – you can drop the paper prescription into the pharmacy or post it to us at the address below.
- Call us – if you are unsure what to do, telephone us on 01604 654214 and our team will guide you through the process.
When you send a photo, please make sure the whole prescription is visible, the image is in focus and all of the text and the prescriber's signature can be read clearly. Please also include your name, date of birth, delivery address and a contact telephone number so that we can process your order and contact you if we have any questions.
What happens next
Once we receive your prescription, our pharmacist will review it to make sure it is valid and that the medicines are suitable and safe for you. We will dispense your items and arrange free delivery to the address you have given us. If you have sent a photo of an NHS paper prescription, please note that we will need to receive the original signed prescription before the supply can be completed, in line with NHS rules – you can post it to us or hand it in, and we will let you know what is required when you contact us.
NHS and private prescriptions
We are happy to dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. For NHS prescriptions, the standard NHS prescription charge applies to each item unless you are entitled to free prescriptions or hold a valid exemption or prepayment certificate. For private prescriptions, the cost of the medication and any professional fee will be confirmed with you before we dispense. If you would like us to manage your repeat NHS medication on an ongoing basis, you may prefer to use our NHS prescription service, where we request your repeat prescriptions directly from your GP surgery for you.

Any prescription you send us, and the personal and medical information it contains, is handled with the strictest confidence and in line with data protection law and our professional obligations as a pharmacy.
