Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions set out the basis on which you may use the NHA Pharmacy website, www.nhapharmacy.co.uk, and the prescription, dispensing and delivery services we provide. By using this website, registering with us or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before using the site. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use this website or our services.

1. About us

NHA Pharmacy is a community and online pharmacy based at Unit 23, Northampton Science Park, Newton House, Kings Park Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6LG. We are a registered pharmacy and the supply of medicines from this website is undertaken in accordance with the regulations of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Our superintendent pharmacist is responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the pharmacy. You can contact us by telephone on 01604 654214, by fax on 01604 648827 or by email at [email protected].

2. Using this website

This website is intended for use by residents of the United Kingdom. The information on the site is provided for general guidance only and does not replace the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional. While we make every effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that the content is complete, current or free from error. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, and not to interfere with the proper working of the site.

3. Eligibility and registration

To request prescriptions or use certain services you must first register with us. You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and you must provide accurate, complete and current information about yourself and any patient on whose behalf you are ordering. You are responsible for keeping your account details and password confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Prescriptions and the supply of medicines

We dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. NHS prescription items are supplied in accordance with the terms of the NHS and the appropriate prescription charge, or a valid exemption, will apply. Where you have asked us to collect your prescription from your GP surgery on your behalf, we will request it directly from the surgery; however, the issuing of a prescription remains at the discretion of your prescriber and we cannot dispense an item until a valid prescription has been received. Prescription Only Medicines will only be supplied against a legally valid prescription. We reserve the right to refuse to dispense any prescription or supply any medicine where, in the professional judgement of our pharmacist, it would not be safe, appropriate or lawful to do so. If a clinical concern arises, our pharmacist may contact you or your prescriber before completing the supply.

5. Over-the-counter products and pricing

The prices of over-the-counter products and the cost of delivery are shown on the website and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We try to ensure that all prices are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price or to cancel it. We are not obliged to supply goods at an incorrect price. Some medicines are subject to quantity restrictions and may only be sold in line with the manufacturer's and pharmacist's recommendations.

6. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, this constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and to the availability of stock and, where relevant, to a valid prescription being held. We will confirm acceptance of your order when we dispatch the goods or, in the case of prescription items, when the supply is approved by our pharmacist. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.

7. Delivery

We deliver dispensed medication and ordered products to the address you specify at the point of ordering. We aim to dispatch orders promptly, but delivery times are estimates only and we cannot accept liability for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays by the postal or courier service. Please ensure that someone is available to receive medicines, as some items must be signed for. If a delivery cannot be completed, we will contact you to arrange redelivery or collection.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

For reasons of patient safety and the law, medicines that have left the pharmacy cannot be returned for re-use or resale, and we are unable to offer a refund or exchange on dispensed medicines or other medicinal products unless they are faulty, damaged or supplied in error. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you receive an item that is incorrect, damaged or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can put matters right. Non-medicinal products in a saleable, unopened condition may be returned in line with your statutory cancellation rights.

Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from any reliance placed on its content where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable. Our services and products are intended for use in the United Kingdom only.

11. Privacy and data protection
